Why Sinch?
Technical Analysis

A strong upward trend seems to have started. Long-term trend breaks upwards.
A major bottom formation, dating back to March 2022, is now breaking out to the upside.
We are moving from consolidation and low volatility to hopefully rising prices and higher volatility.
Vikingen’s BEST-Model, Price Band Model (weekly and monthly), and other models are giving the “green” light and a buy signal.
The relative chart is breaking out upward in a similar way, which is very positive—that is, the company is accelerating upward relative to the OMX in a similar formation as the absolute chart, meaning that large investors are likely driving the up the stock price.

Fundamental analysis
DNB Carnegie (Sept. 24, 2026): Raised its price target for Sinch shares from 52 to 55 kronor.
JPMorgan (Sept. 6–7, 2026): Noted that they see continued upside for Sinch despite the sharp rise in its share price. They currently have one of the highest known price targets for the stock at 66 kronor, with a “Buy” recommendation.

SWOT-summary of the factors underlying the analysis
Strengths
Global dominance and scalability: Sinch is consistently ranked as a leading company by analysts such as Gartner (including in their 2026 report). Sinch has direct connections to hundreds of mobile carriers worldwide.
Broad portfolio: Through the massive $1.9 billion acquisition of Pathwire (Mailgun/Mailjet) in 2021, the company expanded from being primarily focused on SMS to also establishing a strong presence in email.
Weaknesses
Integration Challenges: Sinch grew extremely rapidly by acquiring companies around the world. Merging all these platforms, corporate cultures, and sales teams into a unified “Sinch” has been complex and has cost a great deal of time and money.
Debt: The aggressive acquisition strategy (particularly during the years of low interest rates) left the company with a high level of debt, which the market punished severely when interest rates began to rise.
Opportunities
Conversational Messaging & AI: Companies want to move from one-way communication (a standard text message) to two-way communication (where customers can reply and get help from an AI bot via WhatsApp or Apple Messages for Business). This is a high-growth area.
Cross-selling: Sinch has many customers who currently use its services only for text messaging. There is significant potential to sell cloud-based switching solutions, email services, and APIs for multi-factor authentication to these existing customers.
Threats
Pressure on margins from mobile operators: Many network operators are raising prices for so-called A2P traffic (Application-to-Person, i.e., business text messages). If Sinch cannot fully pass these costs on to its customers, its profit margins will be squeezed.
Fierce competition: They battle daily against American giants like Twilio and European competitors like Infobip for major global corporate clients.
